A Parent Education Presentation at Mountain View Public Library
Cynthia Klein recently gave a parent education presentation at Mountain View Public Library called “Building Your Child’s Self-Confidence and Personal Power.” Cynthia was a joy to work with from start to finish. She answered emails promptly and arrived early for the presentation. As the audience members arrived, she talked with them. She prepared a substantial handout for parents and slides for her presentation. Cynthia made the presentation interactive by asking questions of the audience and answering their questions as well. Cynthia also led a successful “turn and talk to your neighbor” activity, giving the participants specific prompts throughout. The message of her talk was insightful, powerful, and clear. Her slide presentation contained simple graphics that beautifully illustrated her points, making them memorable for parents. Her message about how to interact with one’s children was so clear and persuasive I am certain that the parents who attended the talk will have better relationships with their children as a result.
